Dracula's America: Shadows of the West is a skirmish game of Gothic horror set in an alternate Old West. Secret wars rage across the country – from bustling boom-towns to the most remote wilderness – as cults and secret societies fight for power and survival. Players will throw their support behind one of these factions, and will lead a Posse of up to a dozen individual models in fast-paced, cinematic battles for dominance and survival.

Jedna z moich ulubionych gier bitewnych. Posiadam podręcznik główny i oba dodatki (Hunting Grouds i Forbidden Powers) od prawie dwóch lat. Najpierw w moich grach używałem figurek z Shadows of Brimstone i plansz z Conana, teraz korzystam z figurek do gry "Tombstone", produkowanych przez Black Scorpion Miniatures, oraz z figurek z "Zombicide: Undead or Alive". Potwory wziąłem z podstawki i drugiego sezonu Cthulhu: Death May Die. Pasują do dodatku Forbidden Powers, inspirowanego twórczoscią H.P. Lovecrafta. Używam też budynków w klimacie Dzikiego Zachodu od TTCombat. Gram głównie solo.

Na których zasadach?
Ja na grę trafiłem przypadkiem przeglądając zestawy figurek które mogłyby przesunąć klimat oficjalnych zestawów Stargrave bliżej Firefly i kosmicznego dzikiego zachodu. Tak trafiłem na plastikowe zestawy do Dead Man's Hand, i figurki do Dracula's America.
W sumie to Dead Man's Hand: Plastic Gunfighters + Frostgrave: Cultists wydają się stosunkowo niedrogim i całkiem sensownym zestawem na start do Dracula's America.
W sumie to może i pochylę się nad Zombicide na dzikim zachodzie na potrzeby tej gry... W sumie to zasłużyła na tag Miniatures Agnostic

Używam własnych zasad, opartych na zasadach oficjalnych (modele własne i wrogie przypisane do kart w talii, losowa aktywacja co rundę, itd.) oraz na zasadach (dotyczących sposobu aktywacjii wrogich modeli, z własnym podziałem ma Shooterów, Fighterów i Eldritch Entities) wziętych z gier "Space Weirdos" (polecam) i "Stargrave".
